The Raptor type ship of the game Star Trek Armada is the Romulan's artillery ship. It is build by the Shipyard. It can be enhanced with a Myotronic Inhibitor disabling opposing ships weapon systems. Its damage rate can be up to 16/s and the long range firing distance is only rivaled by the Steamrunner. It is rather slow but on the other hand can cloak itself. This make it very dangerous, if not actively engaged with scouts and cruisers. It allows for powerful hit and run attacks as well as siege. Especially in groups this ship can be devastating. It is, however rather expensive (450 dilithium, 11.3/s).
