The D'Deridex type ship of the game Star Trek Armada, also called the Warbird is the Romulans battleship. It is build by the Advanced Shipyard. It can be enhanced with a Shield Inversion Beam, which steals an opposing unit's or station's shield energy. With its cloaking device it allows for devastating hit and run attacks. Especially groups of Warbirds can deal huge amounts of damage in a really short time, making it a foe not to be taken lightly. The fact that it has rather low shields among battleships is easily compensated by its special weapon.
