The Energy Shield Converter is a special weapon of the game Star Trek: Armada. It is not actually a weapon but more of a special ability. It reloads the shields of a friendly targeted unit or building. The casting ship's special weapon energy is drained at the same time. This helps to restore buildings or ships fast. It is researched at the Tal Shiar Facility. It looks like this:

The Energy Shield Converter converts special energy of the source into shield energy of the target at a rate of 44 shield energy per second while draining 33 energy per second. That makes the conversion rate roughly 1.3 shield/energy and restores up to 1325 shield until energy runs out. It can only be used on friendlies.
