| The storyline starts after the Dominion War and covers the four [[.star_trek_armada_1:factions]] [[.star_trek_armada_1:factions#Borg]], [[.star_trek_armada_1:factions#Federation]], [[.star_trek_armada_1:factions#Klingon|Klingons]] and [[.star_trek_armada_1:factions#Romulans]]. While the first tries to assimilate the Alpha Quadrant (and take possession of the Omega particle), the Federation fights against those very attempts. The Romulans also have an interest in the Omega particle.
