 Sins of a Solar Empire is a realtime strategy game from 2008, developed by [[:en:games:iron_clad_games|Iron Clad Games]] and published by [[:en:games:kalypso_media|Kalypso Media]] in Europe and [[:en:games:stardock|Stardock]] in the US. It is set in a space simulation like environment. You can control starships, do research and build up planet infrastructure. This game should not be confused with the very similar successor [[sins_of_a_solar_empire_-_rebellion|Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion]]. Both feature a very similar game play.
