| Some of the programs or games can be freely distributed on the net (e.g. [[:en:games:nexuiz|Nexuiz]] or [[en:mods:balanced_annihilation|Balanced Annihilation]]). Since my upload used to be too limited, especially in the past below 100 kb/sec, I started to make it possible to distribute the whole thing via torrent, because all peers can help with the upload and their upload speeds up the process. So it is actually preferable to FTP as soon as more than one client is uploading at the same time.
